We conduct original, collaborative research that seeks to break down barriers to health, cancer care and social participation for people with disabilities.
We are committed to the development of evidence-informed interventions that capitalize on the strengths of the disability and interdisciplinary clinical and research communities.
Our emphasis is on peer support and self-management interventions delivered in person or via mHealth applications.
We have a passion for building disability and rehabilitation research capacity among students and disability community members, especially those from group who are traditionally under-represented in higher education and research.
